Mr. Hunt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management for California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He also earned an Associated Arts Degree in Agriculture Science from Fullerton College. He has been licensed by the State of California as a Fire and Casualty Broker/Agent and Life Agent since 1994.

Mr. Hunt is an active member of the Templeton Kiwanis Service Club. He is also the former president of the Templeton Chamber of Commerce. Kevin and his wife Jeanne were also honored with the Hall of Fame Award from the Templeton Education Foundation for their efforts in helping the community. He has been involved for over 10 years in helping to organize the annual 4th of July parade in Templeton.

Kevin has been married to Jeanne Hunt for over 20 years. Kevin and Jeanne have resided in Templeton for over 16 years with their two sons, Chris and Forest.
