About Us
The Templeton Community Services District is a multi-service district formed on December 29, 1976, under the Community Services District Law, California Government Code Section 61000 et. seq.
The Templeton Community Services District serves the residents and property owners within the limits of its approximately 3.5 square mile service area with fire protection, water and sewer services, refuse collection and disposal services, street lighting, parks and recreation and regional storm water drainiage facilities.
The legislative head of the District is a Board of Directors composed of five members. Each member serves a four year term, and elections are held every two years, on odd number years. The Board's regular meetings are held at the District offices, 420 Crocker Street Templeton, Ca., at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
Our Mission
The Templeton Community Services District's mission is to provide the residents of the community with water, sewer, fire, recreation, lighting drainage, and refuse services.
In administering these responsibilities, the District strives to provide these services in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible. The District identifies and anticipates concerns, problems and opportunities, and takes action to address them. The District also provides a catalyst for the involvement of residents, businesses and organizations through advisory boards in the development and maintenance of a well-integrated community.
Essential to accomplishing the objectives outlined above, is the selection, training, motivation and retention of highly qualified men and women as District employees.
