Templeton Recreation Foundation

The Templeton Recreation Foundation is the non-profit counterpart to the Templeton Recreation Department. Formally known as the Templeton CSD Parks and Recreation 501 (c)(3) Corporation, the names Templeton Recreation Foundation, TRF or Templeton Rec Foundation were formally accepted in June. The Board is made up of community members including Smita Ganpule- Board President, Barb Wiggins- Board Vice-President, Abby Allen, Fred Bogart, Pam Jardini, Nate Marquart, Frank Ricigliano, and Natalie Klock.
The goals of the Templeton Recreation Foundation (TRF) are: build a community gym, develop local parks, and build walking paths. The TRF plans to accomplish this by accumulating assets via public donation. A number of fundraisers were hosted in 2011: Bunco in March, 5K Fun Run in May, Fine Wine and Fun Times in September, Haunted House on Main Street in October, and the Cow Plop during the Founder's Day in November.
