Recreation Leaders I and II

Templeton Recreation is hiring part-time, Recreation Leaders I and II.  We are looking for upbeat, can-do, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with elementary and/or middle school age children.  Responsibilities include: Supervision of Homework Club, arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor activities, special events, event planning and/or other duties, as assigned. ECE units desired. Applicants must be 18 years of age.  Successful hires shall be fingerprinted.  Afternoon shifts available from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Additional hours available during spring break & summer. Wage $7.50 -$9.11 per hour.  Flat stipend for mileage for hires living in SLO or coastal communities. Successful hires shall be fingerprinted. 

Skate Park Monitors

Templeton Recreation is hiring part-time, Skate Park/Facilities Monitors.  Monitors oversee the Templeton Skate Park, adjoining Community Garden, and Youth Center areas. Requirements: good communication skills & ability to work with youth. Outdoor position. Pay range: $10.42 - $12.66 per hr. Flexible days. Afternoon shifts, Monday – Friday and/or weekends (a.m./p.m. shifts).  Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have CA driver’s license.
