Local Youth "Blossom" Into Aspiring Gardeners

Templeton Youth Center Children Adopt a plot in the Comnmunity Garden
Each year, the children of the Templeton Youth Center adopt a plot in the Community Garden. In this year’s plot, the children are growing sunflowers, lavender, zinnias, marigolds, penstemon, and some volunteer beans and strawberries.

The Templeton Community Garden is made possible through the generous support of the Tom Jermin Family, Deborah Mills, Plant Health Care Specialist, Brad Goodrow of North County Compost and Recycling, and through volunteers from Templeton High School. Spaces in the Garden are available for both summer and winter gardens. Contact Michelle Costa at 434-4914 to secure your spot in the plot
