This
Budget Unit provides for the operation and maintenance
of, and improvements to, the Templeton Community Services
District water system. The District is responsible
for approximately 40 miles of water lines, 9 useable
wells and one standby, four storage tanks with a combined
capacity of 2.7 million gallons, all of which serve
2037 water connections and approximately 5,400 people.
The Water Fund receives revenues from user fees and
service charges, connection fees, and interest from
cash flow accumulations and reserves.
The manning levels of the
water and sewer departments are expressed in fractions
to reflect the approximate allocation of outside
personnel's time and responsibilities for each of
these departments.
