The Templeton CSD Board of Directors adopted Ordinance 2020-2 which updated the informal bidding requirements and limits of the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (UPCCAA). The UPCCAA is State legislation enacted to help promote uniformity of the cost accounting standards and bidding procedures on construction work performed or contracted by public entities. Templeton CSD invites all interested California contractors who are properly and currently licensed, subject to verification through the Contractors State License Board, to submit an application for inclusion on Templeton CSD’s Informal Bidding Contractors List. All trade categories are subject to the Informal Bidding Procedures.
The UPCCAA limits are subject to change by state legislation. Currently under the UPCCAA, no specific bidding requirements would apply for public works projects below $60,000. Additionally, per California Contract Code Section 22032, any public works project in an amount of $200,000 or less could use the informal bidding procedures set forth in the UPCCAA.
